Annually on the Sunday closest to September 11, United Spinal Association sponsors and teams up with Sail Connecticut Access to provide of day of sailing, adventure and camaraderie for local veterans and disabled veterans.

The event brings out many veterans who have never had the excitement and fun of sailing.  It seems as though the Long Island Sound weather often loves to cooperate with strong breezes and great rides!

A hot lunch of grilled 'burgers, hot dogs, sausage, as well as side dishes and water and sodas are provided.
