Sail CT Access has two Independence 20′s (see photos below) which were designed by Gary Mills specifically for use by persons with special needs for cruising and racing. Each of these boats can accommodate up to 6 persons, including up to 2 physically disabled persons in special seats, a skipper, and a crew member. We have personal hoyer lifts dockside which allow embarking and disembarking for our physically disabled members.

- The 23′ Pearson Ensign, “SHAZAM”, the 3rd boat in our Fleet, is also excellent for cruising and racing for persons with special needs. SHAZAM can also accommodate up to 6 persons, a skipper, and a crew member.
